Energized Poha / Aval / Riceflakes



Ingredients :
Thick Poha / Aval / Riceflakes
1 cup
Onion
1
Green Chilly
2
Tomato
1
Channa
¼ cup
Lemon Juice
1 tbs
Oil
1 tbs
Mustard Seeds
¼ tes
Urad Dal
½ tes
Curry Leaves
1 Spring
Salt
To Taste

Procedure:
1. Wash and soak the channa for 6-8 hrs. Then pressure cook with little water for 3 whistles in high flame.
2. Soak the poha for 10 mins and drain the water completely. Keep it aside for 15 mins.
3. Heat the oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and urad dal. Wait for popping.
4. Add curry leaves, chopped onion and chopped green chillies. Fry till the onion becomes golden color.
5. Then add the mashed tomato and fry it till the raw smell goes off.
6. Now add the cooked channa and salt. Fry them for 2 mins.
7. Then add the poha and mix them well. Keep frying occasionally till the poha gets mixed well with the other ingredients.
8. Finally, add the lemon juice and switch off the stove.
        Enjoy a healthy meal without diet worries.
