


Ingredients:
Raw Banana | 1 |
Oil | 2 tbs |
Mustard Seeds | ½ tbs |
Urad Dal | ½ tbs |
Curry Leaves | 1 spring |
Grated Coconut | 1 tbs |
Green Chilly | 2 |
Salt | To Taste |
Procedure:
1. Steam cook the plantain with its skin intact in medium flame for 10 mins as in figure 1.
2. Allow it cool down and then remove the skin of the raw banana as in figure 2.
3. Grate it as in figure 3.
4. Heat the oil in the pan, add mustard seeds and wait for pops.
5. Then add urad dal, curry leaves and green chillies (cut them into 2 halves).
6. Add the grated raw banana and salt. Sprinkle water and sauté for 3 minutes.
7. Finally add the grated coconut and saute for a minute.
Serve it with Sambar Rice.
