Beetroot
juice is suggested by many dietitians because it is very healthy and
hemoglobin improver. Most beetroot juice recipes suggest using raw beetroot.
But the juice is not very tasty and many dislike the juice. Recently I came
across a suggestion to boil the Beetroots before using. I tried this approach
and then also added lemon and ginger. The result was a very tasty and likable
juice which my family devoured.
Chopped Beetroot

Lemon Juice

Ginger

1 inch
|
Procedure:
1. Wash
and remove the skin of the beetroot using the peeler. Then chop it into small
cubes.
2.
Pressure cook the cubed beetroots with ¼ cup of water for 2 whistles in high
flame.
3.
After pressure has gone, transfer the cooked beetroots with water into a bowl.
Allow it to cool down completely.
5. Then
grind the beetroot with ginger into a fine paste using water.
6.
Strain the juice using the juice strainer. Then add enough water to bring it
into juice consistency.
7. Now
add the lemon juice and honey, mix them well. Serve it at room temperature or
chill it and serve.
Healthy and tasty juice is ready!
Note:
1. Adjust
the honey level according to your taste.
2. You
can use sugar instead of honey.
