Orange Jelly Dessert Recipe | Orange Recipes | Jelly Recipes




This Orange Jelly is very easy and yummy dessert recipe with less ingredients.

 



Ingredients:

1. Orange Juice - 1 1/2 cup

2. Corn Flour - 1/4 cup

3. Sugar - 1/2 cup

4. Oil - 1 tsp

To Decorate:

5. Desiccated Coconut - As Required

6. Sugar - As Required

Procedure:

1. In a non stick pan or thick bottom pan, add orange juice, corn flour and sugar. Mix them well without lumps.

2. Boil the above mixture in a medium flame. Mix them frequently with whisk to avoid to form lumps.

3. Cook till the mixture becomes thick and also leaves the sides of the pan.

4. Grease the tray with oil. (either square tray or rectangle tray)

5. Pour the cooked mixture (from 3) into the tray. Allow it to cool down.

6. Refrigerate it for minimum 2-3 hours.

7. Remove from the pan and cut it into small cubes or circles.

8. Immediately coat with desiccated coconut and sugar. 

Serve it immediately.  Take them out from the refrigerator when you serve.

Moroccan Carrot Salad | Easy Salad Recipes


Typically salad means mixing of vegetables or fruits or both.  In this Moroccan salad the key difference is adding juice (orange) to the vegetable (carrot). Another difference is adding rose water for aromatic flavor. The result is a juicy salad which was liked by our family very much. They were asking once more again and again.

Preparation Time: 5mins  | Yields: ¾ cup

Ingredients:
Grated Carrot
½ cup
Orange Juice
¼ cup
Sugar
3 tbsp
Cinnamon Powder
A pinch
Rose Essence
2 drops

Procedure:
1. In a wide bowl, add grated carrot, orange juice, sugar, cinnamon powder and rose essence.
2. Mix them gently and keep it aside for 10 mins.
3. Again mix them gently and serve as it is or chill it and serve.
   Wow delicious and aromatic Juicy Moroccan Salad is ready within 3 mins.

Note:                                                                                               
1. In the original recipe they are using Orange blossom water. Since it is not available I replace it with rose water.

Orange Yogurt Smoothie with Mixed Fruits

      Yogurt and Orange combination gives a very sweet and sour taste to a mixed fruit smoothie. The Aroma of Orange also makes the smoothie very tempting. A Bread Sandwich along with this smoothie will be a very energetic and filling breakfast.

Preparation Time: 7 mins  | Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients:
Chilled Yogurt / Curd
1 cup
Orange Juice / Orange
1 cup / 2
Apple
1/2
Banana
1
Fig
2
Sappota /Chikku
2

Procedure:
1. Remove the skin of the banana and cut it into small pieces.
2. Peel the skin of the apple and chop it into small pieces.
3.  Peel the skin of the fig and sppotta and chop them into small chunks.
4. Extract the juice from the orange and keep it aside.
5. Grind all the fruits (from 1 – 3), orange juice and yogurt into a smooth paste using the blender or mixie. Serve it immediately.

Note:
1. You can use store bought orange juice also.
2. I have used chilled yogurt but you can use without chillness.
3.  I have used fresh orange juice and orange pulp without seeds.
4. Use any fruits instead of Apple, Fig and Sappotta.

Papaya Orange Jam

     Even though papaya is a very healthy fruit, lot of people have aversion towards it because of its taste. Papaya orange jam is a recipe idea to make people have papaya. The essence of the orange completely dominates papaya and makes it sweet and tasty. My kid and husband finished off the entire preparation in no time, making this a must try recipe.






Ingredients:
Ripe Papaya Puree
 1 cup
Orange  Juice
¼ cup
Sugar
½ cup
Water
1 cup
 Procedure:
1. Remove the skin and seeds of the papaya. Chop it into small pieces. Blend it into puree form using the mixie. Keep it aside.
2. Take the juice from orange and strain it. Keep it aside.
3. Heat a heavy bottomed pan and place the papaya puree and water on it. Mix them well and allow it to cook well.
4. Then add the sugar and orange juice. Mix them well; Keep the flame at medium level.
5. Within a short time you can observe bubbles starting to appear.
6.  Cook till the bubbles stop appearing and the mixture becomes thick.
7. Store it in a clean and dry bottle and use it after the jam has cool down.
Note:You can store and using it for more than 15 days using the refrigerator.

Orange Carrot Punch



Ingredients:
Orange
1
Carrot
1
Ice Cubes
4
Water
1 cup
Sugar
1 tbs
Honey
1 tbs
Cardamom Powder
A Pinch
Salt
A Pinch

Procedure:
1. Peel the skin of the orange and squeeze the juice from it.
2. Peel the skin of the carrot and cut it into small pieces.
3. Blend carrot with water and  extract the juice.
4. Mix well orange juice, carrot juice, sugar, honey, cardamom powder and ice cubes together.
5. Orange Carrot Punch is ready to serve. Serve it chill.
     Enjoy  !!!

Orange Juice


Ingredients:

Orange

2

Honey

1 tbs

Sugar

1 tes

Ice Cubes

Handful

Procedure:

1. Peel the skin of the orange. Separate each pieces.

2. Remove the seeds from each of the pieces.

3. Blend the orange pieces, sugar, honey and ice cubes till it becomes frothy.

4. Filter the juice and serve it chilled.
