Fig and Strawberry Juice | Fig Recipes | Juice Recipes


This is fig and strawberry season. This combination of Fig and Strawberry is a big hit in my home and will be also be a big hit in yours too. Also, fig is very good for increasing hemoglobin.

Preparation Time: 10 mins  |  Yields: 2 cups

Fresh Fig Fruit
4 nos
Strawberry
4
Honey
1 tbsp
Water
As required

Procedure:
1. Remove the skin of the figs and cut them into small chunks.
2. Wash and cut the strawberries into small pieces.
3. Blend the chopped figs, strawberries, water and honey in a blender till the fruits grind into smooth paste.
4. Strain the juice using the juice strainer and serve it chill or at room temperature.

Note:
1. Adjust the honey level according to your taste.
2. You can use sugar instead of honey.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie | Summer Recipes

    Summer has stated and its kid’s time. There will be never ending demand for snacks and drinks from kids. Strawberry Banana Smoothie is a good quick but healthy recipe to have. The good part is you can do it in minutes.

Ingredients:
Boiled cold milk
1 cup
Banana (medium size)
1
Strawberry
2-3
Strawberry jam or sugar
1 tesp
Ice cubes (optional)
As required

Procedure:
1. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender or juicer into a smooth paste.
2. Have it as it is, add ice cubes or refrigerate and serve it.

Strawberry Kuzhi Paniyaram

Making traditional dishes attractive for kids is a big challenge. So I tried making paniyaram like a continental dish.





Ingredients:
Idli Batter or Paniyaram Batter
1 cup
Strawberry Sauce
¼ cup
Fresh Strawberry
2-3
Oil
For fry

Procedure:
1. Mix the batter and strawberry sauce well.
2. Wash and chop the strawberry into small pieces and keep it aside.
3. Heat the kuzhi / kuli paniyaram pan, pour few drops of oil and then pour this batter upto only half of the kuzhi.
4. Then keep 2-3 strawberry pieces at its center.
5. Again pour the batter upto ¾ of the kuzhi. Cook it in medium flame.
6. After few mins, turn them to the other side and cook until it becomes golden color on both sides.
     Yummy and tasty evening snack is ready to serve.

Strawberry Lassi


Ingredients:
Strawberry
3
Yogurt / Curd
½ Cup
Cold Milk
¼ cup
Sugar
1 tbs
Salt
A pinch
Ice Cubes
5

Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients till the lassi formed becomes frothy. Serve it chill and enjoy!!!
