Apple Cookies without Oven and Fire

     

      
     This is a quick party snack which can be prepared without fire, and can be made by kids themselves. As the snack looks like cookies, kids will be surprised with the juiciness of the apple inside which they will not expect. The surprise effect is the specialty of this recipe.

Preparation Time: 5 mins  | Cooking Time: Nil  | Yields: 6-7 slices 

Ingredients:
Apple
1
3 tbsp
Sugar Sprinkles
1 tsp
Grated Chocolate
½ tsp
Grated Almond
1 tsp

Procedure: 
1. Wash and cut the apples into ¼ inch circle like slices.
2. Remove the center portion of the apple using the knife without damaging the apple outsides.
3. Apply the peanut butter over the apple slices .
4. Then sprinkle the grated chocolates and sugar sprinkles.
5. Finally garnish with grated almonds.

Note:
1. What Toppings you want is your choice. You can use chocolate chips instead of grated chocolates.
2. You can also use cashew nuts instead of almonds.

Dry Fruits and Dates Laddu | Easy Laddu Recipes

     Dry fruits are rich in nutrients. Instead of taking different dry fruits one by one, dry fruits laddu brings all of them together, making it easy to have. This can be a good and healthy sweet for festivals like Diwali.

Ingredients:
Seedless Dates
1 cup
Dry Grapes
½ cup
Badam
½  cup
Pista
¼ cup
Cashew nuts
¼ cup
Walnut
¼ cup
Poppy Seeds (optional)
2 tbsp
Ghee
2 tsp

Procedure:
1. Dry roast the badam, pista, cashew nuts and poppy seeds till nice aroma comes out. Allow them into cool down.  
2. Using the dry mixie jar, add roasted badam, pista, cashews and walnuts. Grind them into a coarse or fine powder.
3. Remove the seeds from the dates and chop them into small pieces.
4. Chop the dry grapes into small pieces.
5. Grind the chopped dates (from 3) and dry grapes (from 4) into a coarse paste using little water.
6. Heat the ghee in a pan, add the ground paste (from 5) and sauté till they become thick.
6. Now add the ground powder (from 2) and mix them well. Then switch off the flame immediately.
7. Then allow it to cool down and make small lemon size balls from the mixture.
8. Roll the balls over the roasted poppy seeds (if used).
     Then store it in a air tight container. Healthy and easy laddu is ready.

Note:
1. Mixed nuts is your choice.
2. You can keep this laddu at room temperature for 3-4 days. But refrigerate for a week.

Caramel Apple with Nuts

     Caramel Apple is a type of dessert. This is recipe of my cousin sister. We tried it together and my family liked it very much.  Caramelized apple slices is a completely different taste.

Preparation Time:  5 mins  | Cooking Time: 15 mins| Yields: 1 cup
Ingredients:
For Apple Caramel:

Butter
1 tbsp
Naatu Sakkarai / Karumbu /sakkarai(Natural Unrefined Cane Sugar)
2 tbsp
Apple
1
For Nuts Caramel:

Butter
½ tbsp
Naattu Sakkarai/ Karumbu /sakkarai(Natural Unrefined Cane Sugar)
½ tbsp
Badam

Roasted Ground Nut
¼ cup

Procedure:
Preparation Procedure:
1. Wash and peel the skin of the apple. Then cut it into very thin and lengthwise slices.
2. Cut the badam into thin slices.
3. Coarsely grind the ground nuts using the mixie. Just give only one ???
Cooking Procedure:
1. Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a heavy bottom pan.  Add 2 tbsp of naattu sakkarai and wait for it to melt  completely.
2. Then add the apple slices and mix them well.
3. Stir occasionally and cook till the apple becomes tender.
4. Remove from the heat and transfer into a bowl.
5. In the same pan, add ½ tbsp of butter, add ½ tbsp of naattu sakkarai. Wait for it to melt completely.
6. Then add the chopped nuts, mix them well till they become thick.
7. Now mix this nuts mixture into the apple mixture.
8. Allow it to cool down and serve. Otherwise keep it in the refrigerator for an hour and serve. Serve it with ice cream also.
Note:

1. Type of nuts is your choice.
