Lassi
is a favorite cool drink during summer. But we all try for creating new and
different flavors. Dates and Honey lassi is a tasty and healthy. People will
not able to guess that the flavor is using Dates.

Yields: 1 ½ cup
Ingredients:
Yogurt / Curd

1 cup
|
Boiled Milk
|
½ cup
|
Dates (deseeded)
|
10
|
Honey
|
2 -3 tbsp
|
Salt
|
A pinch
|
Cardamom Powder
|
¼ tsp
|
Procedure:
1.
Remove the seeds from the dates and chop them into small pieces.
2. Put
the chopped dates into milk and mix them well. Boil them for 2- 3 mins in a
medium flame. Allow it to cool down completely.
3.
Grind the milk and dates mixture into a fine paste using the mixie jar.
4. Then
add salt, honey and yogurt with the ground mixture. Again grind them for few
seconds.
5.
Dates and honey lassi is ready to drink. Serve as it is or refrigerate and
serve.

Note:
1.
Adjust the honey level according to your sweetness.
2.
Strain the lassi with juice strainer, if you don’t like small bites of Dates.
3. You
can use Dates syrup also instead of Dates.
