Chocolate Sauce with Coco Powder

     Chocolate sauce is a frequently used ingredient which can be homemade easily. It can be prepared once and used in smaller quantities later in various recipes.

                     Preparation Time: 3 mins  | Cooking Time: 7 mins | Yields: 1 ½ cup

Unsweetened coco powder
1/3 cup
1 cup
Corn Flour
1 tbsp
A pinch
Cold Water
1 cup
Vannila Essence (optional)
1 tesp
1 cup = 250 ml
1.  In a sauce pan, add coco powder, sugar, corn flour and salt.  Mix them well with whisk.
2. Then add the water and mix them thoroughly with whishk without any lumps.
3. Now heat this mixture and bring it to boil. Once its starts boiling then simmer the flame and stir occasionally .
4. Cook for 5-6 mins or till the syrup becomes little bit thick (not too thick). Then switch off the flame and allow it to cool down. Add vanilla essence (if you have used) and stir well.
5. Store it in a airtight container and refrigerate for later use.

1. If the sauce is thick while preparing it will become thicker after cooling down. So keep the sauce little bit thick.
