pazham in tamil also called as Jamun fruits, Jambul, black plum, Indian
blackberry, Java fruit, etc., It contains high medicinal value.
Unfortunately
my family was not taking it. So I tried it as juice. It came out well and
enjoyed having it.

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients:
Jamun / Nava Pazham Fruits

10 nos.

Sugar

2 tbsp

Water
|
1 ½ cup

For Decoration

Lemon

1 tesp

Procedure:
1.
Wash and remove the flush from the seeds of the fruit using the knife.
2.
Grind the flush along with 2 tbsp sugar in a mixer or juicer.
3.
Then add ½ cup of water and grind them into a smooth paste.
4.
Now add the remaining water and mix it well. Then strain the juice using the
juice strainer. If you want it in chill, keep it in the fridge and serve. Otherwise
serve it immediately.
5.
At the time of serving, scatter the sugar on a plate. Wet the rim of the glass
with lime. Immediately dip the rim in the sugar, so that the sugar coated in
the rim of the glass.
6.
Now pour the jamun juice into the glass and serve.

I love the presentation... Love jamuns to eat just as a fruit... the juice would taste awesome too :)
