Ice-Cream Sticks Tea-Mat

Materials Required:
1. Ice-Cream Sticks
2. Fabric Color or Paint
3. Glue / Fevicol

Method:





Take 11 Ice cream sticks and two different fabric colors or paint.









Paint 4 sticks with one color(green) and the remaining with other color(pink). You can paint the sticks on one-side only or both sides if you prefer. Let them dry.






Apply glue at any one of the ends of the two pink color sticks as shown in the figure.








Place another pink stick on the glued sticks and ensure that only the edges of the new stick are placed over the glued sticks.











Again apply glue adjacent to the previous stick and place a green color stick near by pink color stick (like the earlier step) without gap.










Repeat the previous steps till sticks are placed end-to-end of the the sticks placed first [fig 3] .









Keep some weights on the mat so that the glues bind strongly.










The backside of the mat should be looking like this.










Paint the backside with any color. Keep it aside for drying.

Now your Tea-Mat is ready.
