Egg Fry / Poriyal

Ingredients:

Egg

2

Onion

3

Mustard Seeds

½ tbs

Urad Dal

½ tbs

Curry Leaves

1 spring

Green Chilly

2

Salt

To taste

Pepper Powder

1 tbs

Oil

2 tbs

Procedure:

1. Chop the onion (finely) and slit the green chillies into halves.

2. Take a bowl, add 2 tbs of water, add salt and pepper powder, and mix them well.

3. Then add egg and beat the mixture well.

4. Heat the oil in the pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and green chillies.

5.When mustard seeds starts popping, add finely chopped onion, and sauté until it becomes golden brown.

6. Add the egg mixture, stir it well until the egg forms as pellets.

Egg fry goes well with Rasam Rice.
