Ingredients:
Rice Flakes / Thick Aval | 1 cup |
Oil | 1 tbs |
Mustard Seeds | ½ tbs |
Urad Dal | ½ tbs |
| 1 tbs |
Curry Leaves | 1 spring |
Red Chilly / Green Chilly | 3 |
Onion | 1 |
Grated Coconut | ½ cup |
Salt | To taste |
Coriander Leaves | For Garnish |
Procedure:
1. Wash the aval thoroughly and soak it in water for 5 mins.
2. Then drain the water completely and spread it on a plate to avoid the aval coagulate.
3. Heat the oil a pan, and add mustard seeds. When the seeds starts popping add urad dal,
4. And then add the chopped onion and fry till the onion becomes golden colour.
5. Now add the grated coconut and fry for 2 mins.
6. Add salt and aval, mix them well and heat it in a medium flame for 5 – 7 mins.
Serve it to loved ones.
