Onion Pakoda


Ingredients:

Onion

2

Gram flour

¼ cup

Chilly Powder

1 tbs

Cooking Soda

¼ tbs

Food Colour (optional)

¼ tbs

Water

3 cup

Oil

For fry

Salt

To Taste

Procedure:

1. Cut the onion into lengthy thin slices.

2. Take a bowl, mix gram flour, chilly powder, cooking soda, food colour and salt. Mix them well.

3. Now add onion slices into the mixture and mix it well.

4. Sprinkle water and make the batter. Don’t make the batter too dilute.

5. Keep it for 5 mins.

6. Now heat the oil in kadai and make small fritters and deep fry until it becomes golden brown.

7. Drain out excess oil.

Serve hot with Ketchup or Coconut Chutney.
